This doesn’t mean the usual bar at the bottom didn’t appear. During my tests on the Chromebook, I was able to type directly into the name bar without anything popping up at the bottom of the screen making it a rather natural experience. It simply isn’t the full vision or version as of yet and getting in now helps the developers to keep growing the game through feedback and the funds collected–this game is free but there are in-app purchase options.įirst thing you get to do in this game upon starting is choose whether you want to be a girl or boy as you create your character and choose your name. “Early Access” in this case doesn’t appear to be a beta as I’ve known them (buggy, early peeks)–the developer will call it beta in their own material though–as it is a functional game that simply seems to be missing content but the world is there for you to dig into. I first tested this game on my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to not only see how it compares on Android but also to see how ready it was for testing on Chromebook. Even so, it is available now and ready to play. Now, it is still in early access so not everything is fully available yet in-game that you’ll see about this game. Here’s a game designed from the get-go for mobile and also has rather Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon-like qualities to it. There will likely be an additional download upon reaching the start screen but they’ve always been at the MB (megabyte) level for me. The game installed without issue and immediately went full screen without prompting. Harvest Town was made by Avid.ly and is rated E for Everyone.
